My brother and I were alone a lot growing up. I don't think I would let DD be alone that young though.

No I wouldn't. My son is 7 will be 8 Jan 1st and there is no way I would leave him home alone

i was home alone or with my younger sister alot at those ages... Nowaday I wouldn't. my mom just started to let my 10 year old brother stay home alone while she was out grocery shopping

No. I was home alone all the time at that age, but I am deff not leaving my Son home by himself that young lol.

Depends on the kid. Two of 'em together would make me a little more hesitant though. I stayed home alone quite a bit as a young child, but not every kid could handle it (nor should they, really).

It is! But Tuesday they were all attitude. I told them I wasn't going to put up with it and if they wanted to act like that they could sit down and not play till somebody came on got them. I told bil about it and he made them apologize and told me not to put up with it anymore. And to busy their buts if I have to. Anyways yesterday they didn't show up. And everybody forgot to tell me. So I'm freaking out. Turns out she is letting them stay at home alone now. Monday and Tuesday they are out of school. And she is letting them stay there. Idk. :/

You can't really do much, in the end it is her decision and her kids.. Im sure she will have a plan for them and will be calling them to check up or what not.
