This was for open adoption. I placed my youngest son for adoption, open adoption, last year..

I agree with you my friend went threw open adoption for her son back in 2009. And we went threw so many profiles it was hard on her. I felt so bad for her and pain it was causing her. We found one family and they agreed on her terms and everything. Well he ended up coming earlier than expected and they backed out. Then she picked another family they backed out too. She went threw 4 couples before finding a family for her son. And ancency she went threw didnt keep there promise so they had fight get them to pay the medical expenses.Adoption is really harder than people think.

I know. It is easy for people to say oh dont do abortion, Adoption is better... yeah no...
I was lucky. I found the right couple. And they are so grateful. They love me and my oldest. They were afriad that I was going to back out of it because it happened with them before so they were scared. And once he was born and I told them that he was theirs and I was in no way going to fight to keep him, they calmed down. It is scary. And a lot of emotions that go in it. People just dont realize.

It depends on the state. When I lived in NJ I also had Medicaid and they will cover the entire cost for it, that is if you choose to do it with NO medicine. If you choose the 'twilight' method light sedation it would have been 50$, but now I live in NC and Medicaid will absolutely not cover any of it. And also it depends on how far along you are as well.
