It sucks being a parent to a grown man. They think they have to play all day. It's funny that your kid gets mad at him though lol.

Thank you! I got it from the book Where the Heart Is. Main character's name was Novalee Nation!  

I argue with my nephew like crazy. He's just so...easy. He argues with everything I say, and some of the things he says are just so funny!

My daughter "beats him up"...   They play fight and everything but I wish he would stop when she starts hitting out of anger! men are dumb.


And yeah, I read the book as a kid but the movie was cute too!!

That's how Novali and SO are.... SO could literally be standing watching the TV and say "Oh, that's cool" and Novali would argue that it's not "cool" and how he should be standing close/far from the TV and then they go at it.

It is really funny but sometimes it's hard to get kids to actually stop. They don't know when you are being a grown up and when you are playing.

Novali knows when SO is playing or being serious.... SO doesn't know when Novali is really getting pissed and angry or just playing around.....
