Did karate help your child

I recently put my child in Karate class because I was told it helps with discipline and I also wanted to positive males in his life since his sperm donor isn't that much. The teachers are involved in the kids life and wants update about behaviors and school etc.

Did anyone see a change in there kids after they were in karate for a while?

My 11 year sister has been in karate for 3 years and it has really helped her. She said it helps her get her anger out and she learned breathing techniques that she uses when she feels upset, mad and last summer when she broke out in hives she did it and it cleared up right away. They focus on control through the breathing techniques which has helped a lot.

I don't know, but I plan to put both my kids in it when they're old enough. I think it's a wonderful outlet!

It has helped Novali understand and respect authority more. She hates sparring though, but she loves everything else.
