I walked!

posted 4th Oct
Okay, it doesn't sound like much, haha. But I'm so proud of myself! I hauled my two little monsters down to the garage where my double stroller is and we walked all over the apartment complex. I've been having such a rough time because I hurt really bad and so I've been avoiding actually doing any workouts because I'm so afraid I'll hurt worse.

But today I grew a pair and just went. It may not have been much, but I'm still really really proud. I'm going to try and do it every single day. I was running a few times a week and lifting weights and had to scale it back. I've gotten back to lifting a little, but it's not going great I think.

So here's to continuing with doing at least a little every day, even when I don't feel like it!

Good for you! More than i'm doing right now
I noticed my calves were having that "i just worked out" feeling/pain,
then realized it's cos we moved from a one story to a three story house.
so i was doing so little before, that just stairs a few times a day, were literally a work out for my legs

keep walkin'!

ooooh stairs. I am on the 2nd floor and have been going up and down them a TON for a good work out. I really like them! I wish I lived near somewhere with a few flights, I hate going up and down a single flight. haha

I was recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia so I'm trying to sort of balance my need for exercise with my serious need of NOT overdoing it, lest I anger the fibro gods, haha.

i had the thought just last week if i'd be a total dork to do stairs inside as my work out. just up 'n down my stairs, with my daughter staring at me like i'm crazy

and sounds like you definitely have a good plan! the constant pain is definitely not good   but it sounds like your attitude & determination to be up 'n about will be beneficial! good luck   <3
