The law here, and I assume it to be the safest, is that if all back seats are taken, the oldest child can go in the front. Also, I don't think any carseat/bolster is safe in the front seat. Not sure about that though.
Craft: some type of braiding,crochet thingie. Maybe friendship bracelets, or beading a necklace.

Colorado law says she has to be in a carseat still, but you're totally right and idk if her booster would still be safe in the front. I need to look into that.

Yeah, that's the unknown part, I think. But, I'd definetly go with the oldest kid in front.
