I am on birth control. Is it still safe to have sex the last week? I heard those pills are non hormonal...

Yes you can have sex and still be protected.

ummm idk. arent you supposed to be on your period for the last week? i would say use a condom to be safe.

The last week of your birth control pack are sugar/iron pills. They are there to allow your body to have a regular menstrual cycle. Yes, you can have sex on your period.

I will take a hunch and say you are new to birth control though, because you ought to know the last week of pills are when your period is due. If you are new, you need to give it about a month for the the birth control to take effect.

I second using a condom lol. I dont like the pill cause it's not 100% due to the strict time frame in which u have to take it every flipping day and if you forget, oh god help you. I much prefer the shot!!!

Shot was $147 when I lost insurance and it made it more difficult to lose weight. The pill I have costs only $9 at Walmart when i lost insurance.
