If you've lost inches, then your weight staying the same is because you're gaining muscle and losing fat. Muscle weighs more than fat.

So will I stay at 178 forever and lose inches and gain muscle? Lol I would like to be proud of how much I weigh at the same time I look

You just got to give it more time.

Wrong.
That's like the trick question in school saying a pound of feathers weighs more than a pound of bricks, well it doesn't because a pound is a pound no matter what.

However, fat does take up more space than muscle.

You will eventually lose weight, it's just going to take time. Maybe if you're still not losing weight in like 6 weeks, change your diet. low carb diets aren't always a good solution, just a quick one.

You just have to be patient. Also, maybe low carb isn't the diet for you. Sometimes what works for others may not work well for you. Way to go though, you've lost inches! That's a great start!

Have you ever studied personal training?

Try changing what you eat, add more fruits and veggies.
Maybe try a different fitness routine.

No but I do have a personal trainer, but this is just common sense.
A pound is a pound.
A pound of bricks=a pound of feathers, but it takes more feathers than bricks to make a pound.

What she's saying is a pound is a pound...
However, muscle is more dense than fat. It's more compacted.

Are you taking pictures? I just started taking pictures and I can see slight differences. Even of you don't show anyone else, at least you can see for yourself.
