Okay i just wanted to make sure. That aint even the worst part she lets one of her "baby daddies(isnt really her sons dad because while on not even a month break up she cheated and got pregnant by the other guy)" live off of her when he aint on jail and his 5-6 friends too. They stayed at her apartment for two weeks straight and all she did was complain to me.

I don't look down on anyone b/c I could end up BEING in need of assistance.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but this is something I see a lot of problems with in my family. Just thought I'd share.

If you're on Food Stamps, but still paying for cable or internet, IMO you really don't need to be on Food Stamps.

Internet I can understand, its extremely hard to go to the library with children to do school work. And cable tv meh, maybe thats the only luxury they have. Just because a very little amount of what I pay in taxes goes to social programs doesnt mean I have the right to determine how people spend their money during their use of social programs.

Internet is a MUST for some people in terms of jobs and schooling. I could not go without the internet. I need to use it for scheduling and schoolwork. Cable, I agree with.

U do know with a form filled out from the dr they will cover it and if they give u a hard time the dr can call them and they will cover it.

I understand needing it for schooling, but if the doesn't have children that are in school and aren't going to school themselves, then it's just a luxury IMO.

I honestly see that too....get this my in-laws get food stamps and yet go out to Burger king or Mcdonald's almost every night for lunch/dinner and spend cash. It pisses me off like no other. BUT get this crap, apparently McDonald's and other places take food stamps. I am baffled at that to be honest, I know it's food but REALLY?!...go to the grocery store and buy yourself some food dammit.

Sometimes it's easier and cheaper to get stuff off the dollar menu. Who cares what they spend it on.

I think people should research how much of their tax dollars really go to government assistance. Now, tell me that you honestly have a right to judge someone on how they spend their assistance or other money.

THIS. Only a tiny bit goes towards food stamps. They can buy a damn cheeseburger if they want to. Poor people deserve treats, too.
