stick straight hair.

posted 4th Oct
My 17 month old has stick straight hair. I'm getting her some foam rollers today for the days we go out of the house usually Thursdays and Saturdays. Is it okay to use hair spray or gel in her hair? What do you suggest we use? Gotta be able to find it at Walmart lol. (hubby don't like going anywhere else. I might be able to get away with going in sallys though.

How thick is her hair? I doubt the rollers will do anything, and if they do, it's not going to last very long.. even with hair spray.

It's pretty darn thick. my mom used to do mine when I was her age. I would ask but she isn't talking to me right now lol. Maybe a tad of gel before then spray after? But idk if it's safe for her hair. :/

This. My hair is strait as can be, and even sleeping in foam rollers it doesn't stay all day. Strait hair is pretty. I wouldn't start to damage her hair at such a young age by styling it daily.

She wants curls haha. She always wants me to do it with a curling iron but that will for sure ruin it. She is prissy. Lol

I don't think it is. Maybe they have something specifically for kids by the kids shampoo? Why do you want to curl her hair? Why not do pug trails or something cuts with her natural hair

I love my straight hair too. Lol and it would just be a sometimes thing not every day.

Just do it once and a while and don't use any product. Novali wants curls too and I've only done it with a curling iron for pageant she was in once.

I personally wouldn't do that to her hair. I'd find other cure ways to do it. My dd is 2 and doesn't even bother with her hair yet. Shell ask me to put clips in it but that's it.

Is her hair long? You can do the sock bun method.

She is so cute. And that's what I am thinking. She is all about nail polish makeup and curls haha. She is 17 months going on 13. I'm scared. Haha

Is her hair long? You could have her sleep in a sock bun and that would put a pretty wave in it.
