The flu s the flu, it just comes with different side affects for different people. Any flu is bad.   

I hope I don't sound pretentious when I type all of this, but I have an immune system issue. I get sick a LOT. I might as well be a doctor.

The yellow-green snot indicates some kind of infection. That normally isn't present with a cold. (For anyone who sees that color during a "cold", it's actually probably a sinus infection.)

Colds do not come with fevers. Ever.

Sore throats and sneezing rarely come from the flu.

Is it a hacking cough?

Do you have any history with bronchitis?

It's not a cold, but I highly doubt it's the flu, either. If you've had it since yesterday, the nausea would have set it. Are you fatigued? Do you have a headache?

Um, I've felt like ass since last night. No headache aside from the usual "kinda hurts." I'm always tired so....yeah. I don't have a fever anymore but I think I did last night, at least I had the sweats last night. Not a hacking cough, no. It comes and goes. No more sore throat and I feel like I'm going to sneeze often, even if I don't actually sneeze. My eyes are watery too, yay! No history with Bronchitis or anything.

If you had more of a headache, I would say it was a sinus infection.

I doubt it's pneumonia, and I really doubt it's the flu. Personally, I don't think it's anything to get too worried about/go to the doctor about, yet.

If there's no change or if it's worse tomorrow, I would start getting concerned.

If you have a lot going on in your personal life, you could have stressed yourself sick. That would explain the soreness.

Drink some hot tea with honey in it. That helps my cough when I can't take medicine. =] Cinnamon too, if you like/have cinnamon!

The soreness didn't start until after DH and I had sex last night and I spotted a bit after and this morning so I think it's gas on top of starting a period.   I have Implanon and they aren't regular so they kind of come with a fury. I've been sick like this a few times and it's usually always worse the second day, which would be today. Then it starts to get better and then I'm left with just a cough for a few days.
I don't drink anything but water so maybe I'll do just hot water with honey and lemon.

I've been trying to stick to just drinking water. It's not working. Sigh.

Don't even allow anything else in your house. Just water. DH gets a soda for himself every now and then and I'm not even tempted now.
