Who was your MOH... would it be wierd to ak my soon to be mother in law?
Iv been reading differnt things on differnt posts..

Is the bridal party expected to help in some extent? or just being there is enough... Im just trying to figure out what to expect..

Also where did you do your honeymoon..? im looking for an all inclusive including atleast all food..

My husband and I were married three years ago on oct 10 we had a fall themed wedding it was beautiful I would love to show you pics but I'm not sure how to post them on here your bridal party defiantly should help with preparations and you can ask anyone you want to be your made of honor

1. My friend from hs, and yes it would be weird because the mothers are usually honored at the ceremony and have front row chairs

2. traditionally yes, nowadays it depends on how your bridal party is i guess

3.We didn't do a honeymoon, we put all of the money into savings for a new car. Though we plan to take a trip alone after i'm done Bfing DD

What exactly do you want pictures of? the venue? the bridal party? decorations? cake?

ETA: reading the other responses, when i said that the bridal party traditionally helps i didn't mean financially. Traditionally the parents of the bride help financially, but with the economy most people pay for it themselves.

As for the MOH, I don't think your MIL should do it since she is the mother of the groom.... Your best friend or sister would be right.

Look online for all inclusive honeymoon packages in areas you want to go or cruises.

The bridal party's job is to take care of the bride (bridesmaids) and the groom (groomsmen) before the wedding (help get them dressed, give them advice, calm them down, keep them from running away). They are not expected to help in terms of paying for anything or preparing anything.

anks everyone... The main reason i wanted my soon to be MIL was because she wasnt really around for my 2 pregnancys and really wanted to include her and have her there with me.. But i do see the wierdness... i was thinking one of my 2 best friends not sure who.... i was a bridesmaid once....wasnt to sure what i had to do... i baked tons of goodies for the shower and bought a cake... and bought my own outfit and shoes.
i dont even think im ganna have a shower... were going to have a church wedding and then just a dinner in a restaurant banquet. keeping it small/

You can also look on the knot or other websites for proper etiquette and ideas watch wedding shows I found weddings for dummies for a quarter a second hand store I got some ideas from that as well my husband and I went to wine country for our honeymoon and found a great hotel package on line that included meals it wasn't the honeymoon we wanted but it was romantic and great none the less our passports didn't come in in time
