Does your kid wear more then one costume?

posted 4th Oct
for Halloween?

Like if you do different events. We are going to ZooBoo which is a trick or treating night at the Zoo here. We have an annual tot halloween party at our house. DD has a party this year in her class and the kids get to dress up, and of course TOTing...

Well my oldest DD just got a Merida costume for her birthday that she wants to wear for Halloween. And i already have a costume for my youngest. Now DD is saying she also wants to be Alice in Wonderland for halloween. Im considering buying it for her to wear to one of the other events..... Which will be the only costume i actually purchase this year.

Just curious if anyone elses kids wear different costumes?

I let my kids wear 2 different ones. They usually dress up in them while playing for the rest of the year.

My kid wouldn't. Only because I'm too poor/cheap to buy another costume

I wouldnt consider it a costume, but I am looking around for a sleeper that DD can wear that has like, a tail and some sort of animal hood, like ears or a cat face, that way, she can still be festive before without havign to wear her costume all day. lol And since you'll only purchase the Alice In Wonderland one, I wouldnt think it was a big deal and its like only having one costume on your end anyway. lol

thats what im thinking.

the main reason whyt i just want to get her the alice costume is because she dresses up in her princess dresses EVERY day... so that merida dress is like normal attire for her. She has been a princess 3 years in a row so im kinda excited she also wants to be something else..

I'd go ahead and get it for her, especially if she likes to play dress up wear round. You wont feel like you wasted money on just one day and I'm sure she'll be super excited to see that she's got two costumes. lol

If likes to play dress up it might be worth the money to buy it. But if you think she will only wear it once I wouldn't waste the money for one wear

One because I don't have a lot of events. Depending on what the events were, I might consider buying more.

Yes, usually 3 or 4 (she has TONS of dresses from the Disney Store).

Between school, Zoo, Dance, community events, and actual trick-or-treating, she wears several different costumes.
