i jsut find myself thinking bad things about her.. and i dont want to be so negative. but i cant help thinking things like "uh, your 'fiance' makes sex dates with you.. only monday mornings" "your 'fiance' went overseas for over a year and came back with ZERO money" ....maybe thats why shes telling lies about her son to make it look like her life is better than it really is

I went through this with my best friend of 13 years, her son is about 2 weeks younger then my daughter, she always turned anything I said around and made it about her and just started pissing me off, I called her out on it a few times, but it never worked. So instead of starting BS drama, we are no longer friends.

thats so horrible that you guys were friends for so long and it had to end like that! our children should be best friends.. growing up together, not having a contest to see who gets their teeth the fastest! lol its almost like i dont want her at my house because i "do so many things wrong" she thinks im a bad mother because i dont give ruby a bottle when she goes to bed.. honestly i feel like thats a choking hazard and any time she is eating or drinking anything i am right there watching her. i just want to shake her and say "BITCH NO! YOURE WRONG!!!"

Its just jealousy and nothing more. Sometimes when people feel left out or have it rough or they can see their own faults in their own parenting and do not know how to change it resort to acting like this...kwim

They try to make others question themselves or their own children. Try and make it clear to her that its not something to compete in, in anyway. lol

Its sounds more like a jealousy thing then just lying about stuff to brag, IDK see what happens with my other method and take it from there.

I swear there is a healthy amount of pride to be had of your children and an unhealthy amount. I have a friend that is NON STOP posting about how her daughter is the smartest, the most athletic, the best best best. I got so sick of it I blocked her posts from coming in any more. The funny thing about it is when I would see her daughter everything she was saying was NOT TRUE! She's clumsy and spoiled rotten NOT SWEET like fb says LOL! And she also didn't learn how to talk till she was almost 4. I sometimes say my kids are the best at something but I NEVER say they are the best at everything! What a weight to put on your kids shoulders! I don't think it's fair. I'm not the best at everything. Had I been told my whole life I was I think that would be a recipe for disaster. I don't know how to handle the situation with my friend but is she were shoving non sense down my throat all the time regarding MY kids I might just tell her how I feel and what I think it's doing to her kid and that it makes her look like an ass!

AMEN SISTER!! i really like her as a person, but i cant take her "perfect son" anymore. her son isnt sleeping through the night, isnt pulling himself up, doesnt really "talk".. but oh man! he does all that and more in her eyes!
