Yay! Finally for real!!!!

So, I got food poisoning yesterday, and woke up at 3:30 am in labor. :-) Now at 7 cm, and doing beautifully. Because of the diarrhea, had to get IV, and drugs since my original plan of positioning for pain management went out the window. Oh well. :-) Long as I have a healthy little boy, the rest is just fluff. :-)

Well, had him around 6 tonight, 8lbs 10oz. He stayed posterior until the very end, making for a very difficult labor and pushing, and my epidural wore off. Kinda hurts to have the OB shove both hands in ya to attempt to manually turn him, and hold back the little lip of cervix that won't go away. Oh yeah, and he passed meconium while still in there. *Sigh* Praise the Lord, he didn't have to spend time in NICU. Now we're just trying to get him to eat, but all the mucus is making him a bit reluctant. Might have to suction out his stomach, cause he keeps yakking up mucus and blood and junk. Will keep updated as I have time and energy.

Hope he gets on the mend real soon so he can eat. Also, hope you are doing ok after that.
