Parents with 3-4 year olds! Christmas list??

posted 4th Oct
It's that time of year again to start thinking about Christmas presents but I find myself not all the impressed by most of the new stuff out

My daughter is 3 1/2 and has an incredible imagination

Im kind of clueless where to start so i guess the question is what are some things your planning on getting your little ones for Christmas ??

I saw this last year and think I will do it this time.

Something they want
Something they need
Something they wear
Something they read.

Kind of a great outline for gift giving!

I just started Christmas shopping.

For my 2-1/2 year old daughter I just got her all the princess dresses from the Disney Store. I plan on getting her the matching shoes, some dolls, some Dora stuff...those are her main interests right now.

My daughter just turned 3 and I'm having the same problem. The only thing I know for sure we are getting her is all of the Toy Story characters because she's obsessed with them.

it's $100 and it sucks. i hate it. Toys R Us is coming out with their own tablet that has wifi and parental controls and you can put apps on it.

i don't like it at all. the touch screen kind of sucks, it eats through batteries so you'll be charging or changing them non stop, we have the AC adapter too but then he's stuck in one spot with it, game cartridges are $25 a piece and i think books are like $8. it was not worth the trouble we went through of getting it last year at all IMO.

DD will be 4 1/2 come Christmas.

So far I've got a few of the Disney figurine play sets (The Lion King, Rapunzel, Cinderella and Brave)
Cinderella Blu ray and the 3 stuffed mice from the Disney store
Bananagrams
Stuffed Simba
Lalaloopsy school bus
Lalaloopsy Cinder Slippers and Prince
Books: Press here, The Dot
Wooden shoe (Melissa and Doug) to help them learn to tie their shoes.

I still have to buy stocking stuffers and Advent calendar items (we make our own) .. She will also be getting some new pj's, slippers, more books, an outfit, and I think that's it. Well maybe the Crayola colour studio for the ipad. We'll see.

Totally agree with this! We got DD the leapfrog leappad last Christmas. We got the case, and 4 games to go with it. DD hardly played with it. I hate that it only uses batteries, cause I suck at charging them. With the new one, you're able to charge it - which is nice. DD loves the iPad though.
