Cooking rice?

How do you cook your to get it just right? What's your prep from start to finish. Mine always turns to mush! Using Tilda everyday rice to go with a red Thai curry!

I make it on the stove. 1 cup rice to 2 cups water a little salt and butter. Bring the water to a boil stir in rice. Lower temp, Cover, DO NOT LIFT LID! White rice takes about 20 mins, brown rice about 30 mins.

I buy the rice that you boil in the bag. If I don't, I just follow every instruction on the box to the T. It always turns out fine as long as I keep an eye on my times.

If you wash it (multiple times - til the water runs clear) you'll be getting rid of all the excess startch that makes it clumpy.

Always this! I cook rice almost nightly, but in a rice pot. I typically do 1 cup to 1 cup, then add an extra cup to make it just right. I am not a stove expert though.

I have tried this but tbh I did not know how long to do it for, lol. Thank for this tip, I will be doing this. I really want to get it right tonight
