Breastfeeding help !

posted 4th Oct
hey momma's.

I've been going through low milk supply just as anyone else but I'm only getting like 10 mls from each breast I'll nurse him for a good 30 mins on each side but when i pump i never seem to get much.
(I'm using the medela double pump freestyle)
anything recommended to increase supply i just started taking Fenugreek pills yesterday and I'm planning on making major milking lactation cookies so I'll have to see how that goes.

Some people just can't pump. Nothing is like your baby nursing. I would just put DD on my breast ALL the time, and it helped. I heard that fenugreek pills and blessed thisle helps. I did both of those with my second and i did really see a diff. Just make sure u stay hydrated and have your baby nurse often.

Pumping isn't an indication of how much you are making. Some women just can't pump (but they have no trouble nursing)

I hear a lot of about fenugreek and blessed thistle. Stay super hydrated and make sure you are eating enough

Oatmeal, Mother's Milk Tea, and put baby to your breast often. Skin to skin contact can also help raise your supply.

I've been drinking like 4 litres of water a day and all I've been eating is oatmeal it seems hopefully after doing all thing in a weeks time or more I'll notice a change i just hope my milk comes in back more I'm all for breastfeeding and did not want my son on formula but it came to it. I regret it so much though.

I ordered mine from Amazon I think. I'm not sure if they ship to Australia. Do you have any health food stores close that you could call or make a trip to?

I have tried Fenugreek and it filled up my boobs but I can't pump! I can squeeze milk out by myself but pumping doesn't work for me. As long as your little one is peeing and pooping enough then your fine
