Pick up your baby, he's way too young for CIO. In babies that young it causes cortisol to build up in their brains. Just rock him, he probably doesn't feel good and crying will just give him a headache.

enfamil newborn. We have had an every other good night of sleep. But even when they are bad they weren't like tonight. I had him next to me sleepin which worked for ohh 10 mins so i brought he swing in the room, but i just don't like the idea of ME sleepin while he is in it. So i'll just have to nap later.

What's the gripe water do then? I've just kind of stuck with the gas drops today bc like i said he hasn't pooped since 7am yesterday and has been gassy all day, but nothing has came out.

My second son used to cry every night from about 8 or 9 o clock till midnight. I think he started doing that at about a week or so old. There was nothing I could do but try to comfort him and he breast feed frequently during this time for short bursts. I know how hard it is but it does pass. Hopefully for you this will be a once off thing.

Gripe water is really good, babies escpecially that young won't just cry for no reason there must be something wrong with your LO, another thing is your frustration level he can sence that too so try and calm down.

Aw, please pick up your baby and console him. He is only 9 days old. It's impossible to start bad habits this early.

I checked out the gripe water, it says it has to be 2 weeks or older, but he slept for 2 hours, i got him up to eat, he went back to sleep again. Just hope tonight isn't round 2 for him
