Flabby Butt...

posted 4th Oct
after LO is born I plan on jumping straight into a new diet and exercise plan. I've always had a sort of flabby looking butt and would like it to be, ya know, nice looking lol. What are the best exercises to get that done???

What worked for me is squats, lunges, and elliptical (and i also run a lot).

thanks! I was also thinking about getting some ankle weights and doing like leg lifts...like to the side and back over and over. do you think that would work too?? I'll definitely do the lunges and squats...and if i get my gym membership I'll hop on the elliptical...love those things

Squats, lunges, and aerobics/kickboxing. Mainly just an overall work out will get you to lose the weight then you can start focusing on firming target areas. I've always had a fairly nice butt, but with this twin pregnancy I can see my butt is going to need some work...lol

Yes those should also help!! Beware, they will make you super sore at first, haha!!! And yeah, try losing the weight, then firm/tone.

Yeah I was going to say walking/running but I hate doing both..lol but it definitely helps. My neighbor runs and she has a great body so if you are the runner type it is a good way to lose weight and build some booty muscles.

I used to run 5 days a week and lift weights 3 days a week...I had a awesome butt then, but I had my little one so now its not so nice and I can't run like I did and lift. I did the bigger stronger faster workout. It was the workout I did when I played basketball in high school I just continued doing the same weights so I never got bulky was just really toned and loved it. But I found running is the best to get that butt back..lol
