so frustrated

been waiting for 10 hours for a call back from labor and delivery to tell me they have a bed available and I can come in to be induced...I can't sleep because I'm so nervous I can't believe this I am going to be so exhausted by the time they start everything...has this ever happened to anyone else?

I had a similar problem. They told me to call at 7:30 AM on December 26th to get my instructions. I was nervous and woke up at 5 AM, call at 7:30 just to be told there was no room for me and to try back at noon to see what they could do. I was stressed and exhausted by the time my induction started at 5 PM.

Thats awful!! I wish they had told me to call in the morning so maybe I would have been able to sleep....I mean I managed to sleep the night before but tonight I've slept for about 2 hours total cuz they keep saying "just a few hours"

I also feel just terrible because my SO has been wanting to comfort me because he knows how stressed I am and so has not slept either. He finally just laid down but the nurse said she would call by 7 which is just 2 hours from now

Sort of. I went into labor at 11:00 pm, so I was up all day, up all night, then up the next day. My daughter was born in the evening, but I couldn't sleep, cause she wasn't with me. I was exhausted! Good luck, mama! I hope you have a smooth delivery!
