did you have a *surprise* baby?

As in not finding out the sex before delivery?

I'm contemplating it. Everyone..EVERYONE is bugging the crap out of m about it being a girl. & I don't want to hear "oh, you're just gonna keep trying until you get your girl?!" Err..negative.

I'm either thinking of not finding out at all..or just not telling anyone (which will be hard to do bc I can't keep my mouth shut   )

So if you didn't find out...& waited til birth..what were the pros/cons?

You're stronger than I   I couldn't do it. I don't do well with surprises

I did it! Everyone pestered and bugged about it, but honestly not knowing made absolutely no difference to me! I was going to love the kid regardless, so I didn't want to know. It was so exciting while I was giving birth, and everybody was making bets. It just turned into a big game, and I loved it.

How did you go about buying things? Just stuck to neutrals?

I'm afraid of even looking at the u/s screen during the anatomy scan bc w/ my second..I saw penis before the tech mentioned it  

& ill be happy either way..I have two boys already..what's another

We told them and the doctor that we didn't want to know, period. So they avoided the lower half, and when they needed to do anything down there they would turn the screen away.

That's a good idea..but the u/s room has a giant like 50" plasma on the damn wall though   maybe ill just close my eyes the entire tme.

I had an extra surprising surprise. I was told I was having a girl and then she came out a he! The first photo SO got of him being lifted over the curtain was pretty much legs and balls. How those were missed, I'll never know! They were HUGE!

omg what did you do with all the girl stuff you bought?

Half is being stored under our bed in a container and the rest is being used by a friend who just had a girl. It made no sense to keep it all here while not in use and she takes fantastic care of everything so it's still pretty immaculate and when we have a girl we get it all back plus a few bonuses

ok thats a nice idea lol im supposed to be having a girl and i already went crazy buying a bunch of pink things and i get scared thinking it could be a boy , my mom got told my brother was a girl her hole pregnancy and he turned out to be a boy
