Stupid doctor

So I took my son to the doctors because he's had 3 staph infections in 3 months. I think he's a carrier. Anyways so she tells me in order to prevent my family from getting staph (NO ONE BUT HIM HAS GOTTEN IT!!!) that we ALL need to be taking baths in BLEACH! She wants me to needlessly soak my family in bleach once per week including my toddler daughters!!!!!! I use cloth diapers to avoid chemical exposure and here this woman is telling me to bath my kids in bleach? Let their reproductive organs soak in that chemical? So I go to complain about her to the head doc and he tells me that wouldn't do a thing. That staph is everywhere and we are constantly exposed. A daily bath in bleach would likely not prevent it. I also told him that she said that she felt that maybe I'm not cleaning my house well enough. I was really insulted she would assume that!!! He said that the cleanliness of my house has nothing to do with it. He said it comes from our noses so it can't be prevented really. Thank God I'm not a total idiot! I might just bath my kids in bleach if I were a brainless sheep that would just do as I was told!

Uhm wow. File a complaint. She shouldnt be giving medical afvice.

I totally did! I was pissed! And I felt really judged! She pissed me off!

I know a bleach bath won't kill anyone because my grandma used to give them to us to dry up poison oak but we know more now than we did then about chemicals and long term effects. I would never use a bleach bath... for ANYTHING!
