Greasy hair & split ends

posted 3rd Oct
My hair for some reason has been greasy lately. I wash it every day because of it... it's noo going away though and it's irritating the crap out of me I can't even wear my hair down because it looks so bad. What shampoo do you guys think would work best torepair my hai?

Washing your hair everyday is making it worse. Wash it once or twice a week for a few weeks and it should start to get better.

I use Treseme, but I love Matrix shampoo. I just can't afford it.

My hair has always been like that! I have to change my shampoo up a lot! I use aussie clense & mend (sp) an it's worked the best!

If I don't have time to wash my hair everyday, I use dry shampoo. Have you tried that also?

It's because you are washing your hair everyday. You need to wash it ever 3-4 days.
It will make your hair so much healthier..and yes, you can train it to not be greasy after a few days.

How long ago did you have your LO? I had oily hair for awhile after LO was born and it ended up fixing itself eventually.

Really? and I am here thinking that if I didn't wash it It would only get worse. I was thinking it was because it starts getting worse after a few hours of washing it. I've seen the Aussie Brand but never tried it. So far I tried Head & Shoulders for Oily hair and it did nothing, Herbal Essences and Pantene with no luck.

Two years ago! It's been since then that I started having this problem but it just won't get better.

Try not using conditioner for a while..or something organic.

When you wash your hair, you strip it of natural oils. Your hair senses this and over-produces to compensate.

I have a glycerin allergy, so I can only wash my hair about twice a week at the MOST. It's amazingly healthy.
