Boss asking employee out....

Yesterday at work, our new general manager asked me out to dinner.   Of course I said no. The thing is, I'm 100% sure he knows I'm married. He knows I have a child, & I'm sure I've mentioned Keith or just the words "my husband" in his presence. He is extremely flirtatious with me. Well, he was. After I declined & reminded him I'm married, he kind of became aloof towards me, even acting a bit hostile when I have to ask him a question.

What should I do? It's making me uneasy & to not even want to go to work. Which is odd for me, because I love my job.

ETA: I've already told my husband, but not anyone at work.

Tell HIS boss what happened, and how he's acting towards you for declining him.

Id tell a his boss or someone over his head in the company that you trust the most. Sorry you are having to go through this!

Thanks for the advice everyone; I think I will be making a call to the company manager I guess ha. I hate doing this; I've never had this problem before & at first I hoped I was overreacting but it just wasn't getting better. )0: Wonder how tomorrow is gonna be...

its better for you to say something now. . . then for your GM to find a reason to fire you , or make up something about you because he is unhappy with your response . . . sounds like , by the way he is acting , that he does not get turned down very often . . . . . . you must have hurt his "man pride" LOL  

YES! Tell HIS boss, that's extremely inappropriate. I hope work isn't too awkward tomorrow, oh and please come over tomorrow or soon. I am dying of no adult time, just toddler time all day every day. Lol
