I lied to my kids.

Because Idk what else to say. My kids ask for their dad everyday. I finally sent this to his step daughter because idk how else to get a hold of him. I was using my kids' account btw that's why it says manuela Instead of Ashley & Cristina is his step daughter.


Hey this is ashley. Can you tell Johnny adi wants to talk to him if he can call her wednesday night. thx.
Cristina: Umm u tell him urself my dad is no longer in phx he is with mario in Mexico he left three weeks ago and I have no time to look for him

So, between a lot of thinking and opinions from others I have told my kids tonight that their dad is in Mexico because he has stuff to take care of. They cried which made me cry. They want to send him pictures so he doesn't forget them (they like to paint) and my 5 year old thinks it's because she has his shirt still. My 6 year old thinks it's because he loves the other kids more (his step kids' kids) it is heart breaking and I hope I did right. I plan to keep all of this stuff so when they get old enough they can know what happened. My youngest's dad said he will help out as soon as he can and try to keep their mind off it. I just always spoke so highly of him as a father I can't believe he would do this to my kids. It's almost not worth it. I should have just stuck around and pretended to be happy. I did it for 5 years what's another 10-15? I just feel ashamed & disgusted of myself.

How old is his step-daughter??? Im not too sure I would include somebody's child in the business of my child's father and I.

WOW, sounds like you both need to grow up, in my opinion. How old is his step daughter for you to be talking to her like that. It isn't her responsibility to relay messages to her dad.

As for lying to the kids, that is off on you.

She lives with him and my kids wanted to see him. I have no other way of getting a hold of him. He doesn't have a phone. The only phone they have is her's which was shut off. I was trying to help my kids out. I don't regret at least trying.

Age has nothing to do with being a brat. It's not her responsibility but she could have said she didn't want to get involved and left it at that. But she just egged it on. That's bratty IMO

This is how I have always gotten a hold of him. She just recently got mad at me because they blame me that her sister lost her kids. It's a huge mess but my kids shouldn't have to suffer for this. e has my number I was simply trying to get the message to him to call his kids the only way I knew how.

so you're confident that he is over there living with her? how long has it been since he left you and the kids?

I just basically wanted to vent that my kids dad wants nothing to do with them and it's my fault. I'm venting. That's it! I can't vent to family because they all think I should have left long ago.
