What would YOU do?

I posted a black stand on the local garage sale. Lately, people have been getting horrible about not showing up for agreed deals. So, we have been posting their names and explaining that they no-showed. It is only fair. Accidents happen, but it isn't that hard to contact someone and let them know you're not going to be there...Instead of making that person waste the gas.

A lady messaged me and wanted it, we agreed to meet at 6:30 tonight. I showed up, she never showed. So, I messaged her and informed her that I showed up and didn't see her. Even though I had messaged her previously and asked if we were still meeting, with no reply.

She messaged me back apologizing, stating she forgot, and that she would bring me gas money.

I don't appreciate the fact that I'm the one feeling like a dick, now.

It is kind of an ass move to post their names IMO. You shouldn't feel like an ass, people forget sometimes.

I wouldn't feel bad, I hate when people do that at least she's going to reimburse you for the gas you had to use.

So are you asking if we would take the gas money or cancel the meet up?

There is no meet up. she already forgot to show up. She just volunteered to come bring me gas money. And I haven't replied...But I feel like a dick for not responding. But what do I say? I'm not going to accept the gas money. It's just.......odd that she would offer to drive all the way to my house to bring gas money to me because she had me meet her and never showed up. I'm weary if she's really being nice or..if there's an underlying intent?
