Leg pains
posted 3rd Oct
My son has started having leg pains. They are normal with his syndrome so I'm not concerned at all. Anything I can do to aleiviate some of the pain or make him feel more comfortable? He isn't crying but it's definitely bothering him. Panadol (Tylenol) has no effect on him, his body is used to it from him having it all day everyday after his surgery. So no point in givin that to him.
Maybe a massage? He won't keep a warm compress on them.

Oh his surgery was just for his heart a year ago and he was on Panadol, oxicodone and morphine. After they weaned him off those he was only on Panadol and that was all day everyday for the pain and its stopped working. His body has built some sort of tolerant to it (if that's the right word)
I could try a warm bath. Though he doesn't really enjoy them. Sometimes screams when I put him in one. Sometimes I think he may have some sort of sensory disorder too.
