i need advice

This has been the most stressful few days of my life my son is a month and 2 weeks and his father just popped up and decided he wants to see my son and that ive not been letting him bs im pretty sure its just cause im with someone and it may be getting serious we squished that issue and set ground rules then my son has been sick so i havent been sleeping i finally get a few hrs of sleep this morning then his father starts up again about my facebook status which he did not read right ugh to top it off i live with my parents and my dad decides to quit his job so he can lay around and drink i dont make enough to pay the rent on this place so i have no clue what to do i was looking for apartments and i cant afford to support myself and my son and pay rent what do i do keep in mind my son's father left me when i was 5 months pregnant and has been in and out of our lives depending on his relationship status so asking him for help is not an option

Hun if I were you I would get a order for child support. First go and apply at apartments based on income and you may not have to pay as much as you would if you got a full price place. Especially being a single mother. then go down to DHS and get help from them. If they apply for medical for you and the kids they will automatically go after the father for child support. Make his ass pay.... he did the deed so he needs to take responsibility and help take care of him. If he wants visitation he need to be willing to work around your schedule and what you say the arrangements need to be. If he cant do that then it may have to go thru court to get a good arangement set up and court ordered so he has to abide by the rules. But I gotta say this.... be a little bit thankful that he wants to at least be in the babies life even if things didnt work out between you two. I know it is hard to hear but think of how many kids that are out there who dont have one parent or the other. He may not have been a great boyfriend but hopefully he will be a good father. Just stand your ground. Dont let him push you around and make it clear to him that you say what goes.
