currently letting my 2 year old CIO for the first time=/

never have i ever wanted to let my little man CIO, but ohh my god, right now he is just driving me nuts. he wont put his toys away wont sit down and just watch ONE of his movies-keeps wanted to change it after 15 minutes. he whiny and im just not in the mood today. i always said id never be one for CIO but right now i think its the best hope i have.

except for the fact he just learn how to take his gate down=/ ughhhhhh!

Oh boy.. sounds like bedtime haha. Aren't toddlers great?

Also, I find it was better letting LO CIO while I was in the room with him. It still makes you feel bad, but not a much in my experience with it. I just sat in a chair facing the door ignoring him. He doesnt cry as hard because he knows I am there, and will eventually get bored and go to bed. I only had to do it twice.

Hopefully it doesnt take him long to get the message!

he hadn't napped today so I figure e would go to bed early, on his own like he normally does when he doesn't nap. a lot of the time he will fall asleep for bedtime laying w me watching a movie or if one of my shows is on. but not tonight. he was just driving me crazy. I let him go and ignored him the whole time till he started banging super hard in his bedroom door-which I closed after he figured out the gate, but he has a night light-and started to gag=\ but I opened his door whiled his nose and laid him back down and told him it was time for bed, I live you good night. and just sat next to his bed-out with in a minute.
