alpha omega elite carseat

posted 3rd Oct
Does anyone else have it? I thought it looked super nice but then when I put my son in it, the neck pillow they added "for extra comfort bent his head down and forced his chin onto his chest practically. How could that possibly be comfortable?

Did anyone else have that problem, am I doing something wrong?

I have an Eddie Bauer version. It's a nice seat but doesn't ERF as long as other seats. That was my only downfall. Yes they don't recline as much as infant carriers but not many convertible seats do.

It rearfaces to 40 I thought? I am just hating the angle his head sits at. Not the angle it reclines to, that the pillow bends his neck down.

No, it is padded where their head sits, so the back of the seat is not straight. Id post a pic but I am mobile.

The headrest? Like the adjustable part?

I dont think we've had a problem with that. Do u have it reclined the most? Maybe adjust the headrest up a little?

It has to be in that spot because it is attached to the part that adjust the shoulder straps, it is in the spot immediately below his shoulders  . I think it's not the seat for us. I guess it's just his body, lol.

That could be. Not all seats fit each child the right way or each car.

my son has had it for almost 3 years. His pillow did the same thing. he always complains about the seat hurting his calves.

glad I'm not the only one. Poor guy. It went back. We exchanged it for something cheaper but more comfy. This one isn't a booster as well but we'll deal with that in a few years from now.

yeah, we upgraded to a harness booster. He loves it, but the alpha omega was only $80 when i bought it. I got it from costco. We planned on using it for DD but i lost the bottom part that makes it capable of rearfacing
