Yup. Car payments and credit cards report all the time. Other loans too. Utilities will report if you miss a payment or it goes to collections, but not month to month.

mine is better than DHs and we both have a very good score. DHs is worse because he had his SGT from AIT steal his SSN and using them for credit fraud.

no idea, it happened before i met my husband and he didnt find out until a couple months after we met, so it happened like 3 years before he even noticed it.
i know DH put the fraud thing on there and filled out paperwork, but thats all i know.

we were at walmart in June or july.. SO went to use his debit card (that's all he ever had and used) and it was declined. we know we have money so we're like, wtf. so i paid and when we get home he gets a call. someone charged 2 months of total tan (under 2 different names, and they couldn't have had his card, it was still in his possession) and over $100 in iTunes. Total Tan gave him 1 month back "that's our policy"   & itunes.. still never heard anything from that.

thank god it was only a couple hundred but his card NEVER leaves him. how does someone just get the number? do they just guess random numbers?!

Honestly, it could be from anything girl. You know when you go out to eat and use your debit and they leave with your card. Anyone and everyone working there can see it and could possibly write it down... Any store, hell even anything you buy online anymore can be compromised. People are sneaky as hell.

Mine used to be 720 but I'm sure it's gone down. I know SO's is like 640 or around there. He helps me (since I'm not working right now) pay my credit card and stuff. I have a lot of doctor's bills that have gone into collections that I am VERY slowly paying off from when I had insurance through work.

640 is still good, though. Not too high risk but i wouldn't try and get any credit, ya know? SO had like $8000+ in medical bills that went to collections and then he set up a payment plan. He had no insurance when he was diagnosed with his cancer. I feel so bad for him. He wants to buy this one property but there's no way he would get approved for a mortgage so now I said I'd cosign or put it in both of our names... ugh.

Yeah, well, we had to get a new car because some lady totaled our only car that was still under lease. The insurance company gave us what the car was worth and then we had to use that money to pay off the rest of what we owed on the loan. So now we have a new car loan. So we had no choice but to get another car loan. Yeah, I had crappy insurance through my crappy job & I had an MRI done and the insurance barely covered it (I called them and they said they would cover up to a certain amount) but I didn't know how much an MRI cost but I still owe around $3,000.00 and I'm set up on a plan but haven't been able to give them anymore money. & I keep getting stuff in the mail from my other doctors saying they are going into collections.

If you buy a package online it's easy to just use some random number.

i am so afraid of this happening. in the states you just hand everyone your card when you eat or go shopping etc.
in germany everyone pays cash so there is no real worry about that unless some thieves have cameras installed by the ATM.
