What Works Best For You?

As far as exercising routines and dieting? I'm 5'6 and I weigh 164 but everyone says that I don't look it but I definitely feel like I do being that I weighed 132 before pregnancy. I need some good ideas and most importantly, I wanna know what kept you motivated! :-)

Pilates!! Lol I'm currently motivated by wanting to get back in all my pre pregnancy clothes. Some fit but some still don't.

Old pictures... definitely.
Down 32 pounds in 2 1/2 months because of them. Lol.

I just ate healthy and did mostly walking. I joined a karate class to help with personal defense, but damn did it kick my ass into shape.

My motivation is I want to be healthy for my kids (and be around for my grandkids!).

Well, what do you want to do with your body? Tone? Burn fat, cardio, etc?

I rarely will ever go to the gym so I'm all about at home work outs. There are a lot of great home work out dvds. You can't go wrong with Jillian Michaels, she's great. I love love weight training. It will tone and lift your body and just make you look so luscious lol.

Motivation wise, I always tell myself that I will never regret a work out but I'd probably regret not getting off my ass and exercising like I should. There WILL be results and they will be worth it.

I like this blog. Keeps me on my toes.

im doing the 30 day shred but only on day 3 right now. I have no motivation except just really wanting to look good lol

i started that and then got pregnant.. so i moved to jillian michaels pregnancy yoga lol

IMO it's about finding something you enjoy. I don't care if Zumba burns a million calories, I hate it with a fiery passion. I love running! I really love me some trail running, but I rarely get to do it (no great place around me). Same with biking. So find something you love and the more you do it, the more oyu'll love it!

Also, set yourself goals. I have a daily step goal, a flights of stairs goal, and a minutes of moderate activity goal. I strive to hit those daily and keep increasing them!

The thing that pushed me every day to lose the baby weight, was my husband being deployed.
He never got a day's rest, so why should I?
That was my state of mind, and plus it occupied my mind so it didnt wander and worry so much when he was gone.

Clean eating and 30-45 minutes of cardio 5-6 times a week
