Sleep HELP!!!!
posted 3rd Oct
Brady is 9 months old. Last night he was up until 2:30am!!! And this happens frequently now...he will go down around 8:00pm and only sleep for a couple hours and then be up and wanting to play till all hours of the night!! He barely takes naps during the day so I KNOW he can't be getting enough sleep for his little body!!! What are some suggestions?? I know he's teething (currently has his 4th tooth trying to cut through). But he WON'T eat any solids, only wants his bottle...except for an occasional banana or a few bites of whatever I'm eating. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I did not experience this with my oldest lol. We are at a loss and extremely tired!! We would prefer not to CIO but I'd love to hear anyone's suggestions please!!!!

where does he sleep? My lo will not sleep if we are in the same room, she started this after she was 6-7 months. We had to let her cry it out, otherwise she would just stay awake all night, keeping us awake with her. Fortunately, she would cry for less than 5 minutes and pass out. She just likes to fight sleep and if we are there, she thinks it is time to be up and play.

His crib is in our room!! right next to my side of the bed in fact....that makes sense! Thank you for the input!! It really does feel like he just wants to play and be up...we put him to bed earlier than we want to go to sleep so that he's hopefully asleep before we are in there, but DH doesn't like it when he cries. And lately it's been a blood curdling scream!!! I'm just at a loss, last night I literally went in the bathroom and just bawled so different than when my 6 yr old was a baby!!!

yeah we coslept until she just wanted to stay up if we were up. So that's when we started using her crib in her own room. And we might have been lucky, but she adjusted really well. 10 months later and she's still the same.
