It sucks. I went into a store once and the lady took one look at me and said "yeah, we don't carry anything in your size." Really? Because you carry smurfing large and xl, so yeah. Bitch. What did you think I wore? Size orbit or something? lol

I actually live in GA, but yeah - it was smurfing weird and rude and I went home and cried. I'm not even seriously large or anything, but all the women in my family are very very busty and like 8ft tall and have a tendency towards having thunder thighs.  


Why would you even say that to someone, though? Like - your in a store trying to sell smurf and you insult people to make them go away and not make money. Even if they did not carry your size, why would she stop you from spending money? Hopefully she has been fired, that's ridiculously rude and uncalled for.

What on earth!! I swear people are so mean! I guess teenagers aren't nearly as mean as adults!   

These sort of things really upset me because no matter whatill never be my 'ideal' BMI weight. With two months of having dean i decided i would go in for a navy scholarship. I exercised 2/3 times a day everything from swimming to weight training and got lean, 6 pack, biceps, pecs ... The lot. Then i got diagnosed with psoratic arthritis in both knees and ankles, put on a regime of steroids and anti inflammatories. I was also urged to give up my extremely active job for a more sedentary one and not to do any impact exercise lest it speed up the disease process. Basically i will end up in a wheelchair its just a matter of when.
In the past few months ive ballooned from 140lbs to 182lbs and at 5 foot 8 im a smurfing whale. I hate myself (add onto that ive got psoratic baldness and huge welts on my body where my immune system is attacking my skin) and everytime someone laughs or commments or refuses to sit next to me on the train because im fat it just makes me wa.t to curl up and die

This is the thing though, there are all sorts of underlying conditions for people that can attribute to weight. People like to pretend that it's only a tiny fraction, but that isn't realistic.

I don't have what you do, but I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia (they'd though arthritis before). It means when I overdo it at the gym or push myself too hard my body can go into a stupid flare where I can barely get out of bed. So I can't work out like I'd like to, so fighting off every pound is HARD.

I'm sorry people can be such jerks.

This! I was so busy talking about how stupid the other people were I didn't say this and I meant to.

You ARE beautiful! You're a wonderful person and just because people are douchebags doesn't change that you're beautiful and strong and wonderful!

I get horrid flare-ups as well mostly due to stress, anxiety, or hormones. I'm currently in the middle of a horrendous flare up

What if you were shopping for someone else, or for accesories?

I am a big mama and i LOVE Bebe, which really does not cater to anyone over a size 2 pretty much. I love their bags, shoes, and accesories. Same with a few other companies.
