Dinner Ideas??

posted 3rd Oct
It has been SUPER hard for me to keep ANY food down unless it's light, not very greasy, and very lean meat. I've got chicken breasts but no idea what to do for dinner tonight. Usually I pull out a recipe book or find one online but I'm super tired and I've lost my poultry recipe book apparently..it's MIA.. any mommas got some delish recipes?

This is one of my favorites, and it's very light.

I adore this chicken recipe. Hope you feel better soon!

If you think thats too rich you should just roast your chicken, then shred it up and make some chicken soup or light chicken tacos.

i made chicken with the fresh take bread crumb mix last night, that was good. Otherwise i just make bbq chicken, or pulled chicken. Although, if you're having issues keeping stuff down, i suggest a bland baked or grilled chicken.

I am making chicken quesadillas tonight.

I have the chicken in the crockpot with some taco seasoning and chicken broth so I can shred it.

And I will put black beans, tomatoes, black olives and just enough cheese to make it stick together

that sounds great, i actually have some chicken and beef stock I haven't used just sitting in the cabinet. I rarely use the crockpot but a friend has been raving about all the recipes she pulled off Pinterest for the crockpot.

how do u make them? i asked for the recipe on here, and it came out perfect, and was sooo easy. I just put raw boneless chicken breasts into my crock pot with the sauce for about 6-8 hours. I do flip mine once in awhile, but by time it's done, stirring it is enough to make it pull apart because it's so tender. The only thing i want to do different is add some brown sugar.

slice breast almost in half, stuff with stove top, pour cream of chicken over top, sprinkle with cheese, bake at 350 for an hour.

See, everyones been raving about crockpot recipes. I was doing it in the oven, wrapped in tinfoil and then shredding it halfway through, throwing it back in covered in sauce and letting it tenderize and absorb flavor.. I never really use the crockpot but I'm thinking I'm gunna have to. I've been given ALOT of recipes lately that all include the crockpot. I actually have 2, and have no idea how I got them. I think they were wedding presents.

You need to.

It's the easiest way to shred chicken and beef!! You just toss it in when you wake up and it's ready whenever you are ready for dinner!
