feeding himself!!!

I dont know if you would consider it BLW or not, but he never liked solids so I gave up on them. Yesterday I took a chance and gave him a ritz cracker and he ate it! I was surprised because he never wants to eat anything. Since i decided not to give him baby food what else can I give him that he can feed himself?

Ive tried baby mum mums but it seems like they dont dissolve like a cracker he usually ends up choking on it. I tried honey maid graham crackers and he didnt do so well with those, they seem too thick but he did good with the kroger brand. When he was 6 months I tried the gerber puffs and he choked, havent given that a try since then.

Any other food I could start off with?


EDIT: I tried the baby mum mum again and I only gave him half and he ate it.
Also he is 8 months

Fruit steamed veggies Cheerios chicken pasta

Any fruits and veggies? My LO's first food was Avocado. And we ave always gave her alot of fruits, such as plums,pears...whatever she can nom on. We gave her the whole fruit.

I was making his baby food so I steamed his food but he wouldnt eat it pureed. Should I just steam it and chop it up? And we have cherrios but I havent seen if he can pick it up I just handed it to him. Will the cherrios get soggy like a cracker too?

My daughter just turned 8 months she eats what I do just cut up smaller

And he is completely heal th y? We did sliced avacodo, steamed brocoli, backed sweet potato, steamed zuccini, oh goodness mine is 3 now its hard to remember

of course he is! He is 31inches and 24lbs 10oz, he better be healthy lol.

I wanted to do steamed broccoli but I wanted to give him some starter foods. I know the top of broccoli can tend to be harder to chew with 2 teeth.

How long has she been eating it though? For some reason when my son doesnt like the texture of something or the taste he will gag on it or choke then vomit. I wanted to start small with veggies and fruits first.

See at 8 months ds had 6 tee th and 2 coming in. Avacodo and sweetpotato fries are good ha he's almost as big as my 3 year old
