i think im obsessing

posted 3rd Oct
Ok as some of y'all know I posted that I had my BFP the other day. Well I've had faint lines, I took one this afternoon and it was a negative. Wth? I am trying to get a appointment to get blood test. I still haven't started my period, and still am nauseous? Can anyone help? Can a test give a false positive twice?

This happened to a friend of mine... Faint positive before missed period then all of a sudden she got negatives
They told her she probably had a miscarriage but just seemed like a regular period to her (chemical pregnancy)

Good luck! I'd go for blood work and hopefully you can get a straight answer

False positives are very rare. When are you testing?

I just tested a hr ago but shouldn't I be able to get a positive if I'm technically like 4-5 wks?

Depends on how concentrated your urine is. It's best to test with FMU

If you're a week past your expected period, you should be able to test at will and get positive. BUT that's not always the case. I hope things work out for you.

When I was pregnant I got BFNs until I was 4 weeks then it was barely there, so faint. I didn't get a clear BFP until I was 6-7 weeks! My doctor just said I was slow to build up my hormones. Interestly though this led to a very sickness-free early pregnancy! Yayyyyyy!

oh no, id ask them to rush that!! express how stressed you are and how important it is for your bp!!

side note, both pregnancies, even using frer, i had to be a week late to get a faint positive, and that was w fmu. your hcg levels may just be low. esp since there is no blood, i wouldnt worry too much (easier said than done) but, assume your prego until proven otherwise, stresswise, you need a chill inside to house a happy embro!! so think happy, sticky thoughts!! and good luck!!!!!!! *hugs*

No see I've never bled, I had what I think is implantation bleeding...it was just a bright pink mixed with brown spotting on Sept 22 which was the same exact spotting I had with my last baby but at that time I thought I was starting my period.....3 weeks after that I had tested and it was positive I was 8 weeks pregnant
