Also, DH had to work the evening of D's birthday (a mandatory 3 day class) so we're doing his b-day party Monday, just us, I think.

I will for sure! That sucks he has to work   again its all up to you if you want me I'm here if not totally ok too. I know it's going to be a hard day for you so even if you want me just to bring over ice cream and chick flicks let me know. You know I'm not a major planner so no need to worry about that. I just want you to know I'm avail should you need or want me.
