how much did your baby eat at 9 weeks

my son was eating between 5 and 6 ounces at a time for the past 3 weeks and now he will only eat 4 ounces at a time i didn't know if it is normal for them to start eating less at a time it is still every 3 to 4 hours between feedings

As long as he is satisfied and gaining weight he is fine. He may have been going through a growth spurt. If it seems he isn't gaining weight properly then I would call the pediatrician.

As long as baby is happy and you feed him/her when they start to show hunger signs (tongue thrust, rooting, etc...) then they are fine   Every baby is different for how much they need.

Could have just needed more food for growing then!  

It's normal for their appetites to fluctuate. My daughter would nurse every 2-3 hours, sometimes 4 and would eat for 10 min or more, and then one day she went down to just 3-5 min and would b full off of one side, so i told her pediatrician about it and he said it was completely normal. She's also never had any probs gaining weight lol she is 5 months old and 21 pounds and 29 in long so she is completely healthy lol

My 5 week old eats 4-6 every 2-3 hours and yesterday HE ATE 8!

my LO is 9 weeks and she eats 4oz every 2- 2 1/2 hours. im fixing to bump her up to 5 oz and see how long that will hold her over.
