Does it matter?

Just wondering since I'm new to it. Is there a certain time to take dietary supplements that burn fat for it to be most affective (like after meals..before or after working out) or it doesn't matter? All the bottle really says it to take 1 or 2 once a day and that's as far as the instruction goes. Thanks!
