To get the setting for my new engagement ring here!
SO and I went through a bad break up almost a year ago, we were engaged and I have a .90 carat E VS2 ideal cut marquise solitaire. It was too big to ever find a wedding band to fit around it, so I never really liked it much(I wanted a princess cut diamond). Now that we're back together, a lot of hurtful things have been said including me telling him how much I hate my ring(which I'm not proud of but I didn't think we'd ever get back together). So at first he wanted to buy me a whole new ring but I told him the marquise is WAY too nice to ever get rid of and has sentimental value as well, I just wanted a nicer setting because I also don't like solitaires on top of hating marquises lol. So he agreed  
He told me to pick one out and let him know which one I wanted, and he would take care of the rest!

So I read on an article someone from Verragio wrote (after doing a ton of research on them because I love their style but they have no marquise rings for sale on their website) that some of their rings can be modified for a marquise center diamond!!! I emailed them and am waiting for an email back today or tomorrow so I can pick my new setting   I'm so excited!

Those are really pretty

I love verragio rings! DH said that's he'd "replace" my set with something less sharp and more my style (I'm simple in style and the damn stone scrapes anyone who bumps my rings with skin)

They emailed me back and said they can custom make almost ANY ring to fit a marquise! GAHHHH I'm so excited haha now i'ts going to be a pain trying to picture them with a marquise and which one I like best.

Yeah that's another reason I dont like marquise   I had to have my jeweler round off the edges of the setting because they were wicked sharp and my son had scratches on him from it!!!
