dentist?

i had to go to the dentist this afternoon for a temporary filling...and he wants me to come back in about 4 weeks for the permanent filling.
My question is, is it ok to get injected twice in a month? Does being injected effect baby? He also said silver fillings are fine and ive heard they're not safe while pregnant?
Im 28 weeks btw....and tend to be ridiculously over anxious and a bit of a worry wart o_O
