2 year olds and naps..

My daughter wont be 2 until oct 13 but the past week she is absolutely refusing to take any kind of nap. She wakes up at 7 am and i will put her down around noon after she eats lunch. She wont cry but will jump up and down in her crib and talk for an hour and a half. She is always super hyper when i put her down so its not like shes even having "quiet time" she should be tired at this point i would think?! Did any of your kids quit naps completely before age 2? If so, do you still enforce quiet time? She sleeps good at night 7-7 .

My daughter turned 2 in May and she just gave up naps a month or so ago completely ( unless we're in a car lol ).

Oh my. My three year old still naps, I love it.

Oh man. I'd trade in naps for a 7pm bedtime!
My 2 yr old naps sometimes, but then she's impossible to put to bed.
No-nap days, she goes down around 8:30ish.
But when she was in daycare, she napped every day.

My 7 year old, still naps when he can haha.

DD is 3, she stopped at 2.5. We most deff still do quiet time.

Yes, mine. She stopped taking naps at around 20 months old. I could (still can, she 2.5 now) get her to nap eventually, but it takes a good half hour of rocking/singing..... And if she naps, come bed time, it takes like an hour for her to fall asleep for the night.

I miss nap time but its not worth the frustration at all. I don't enforce any kind of a quiet time. She isn't a very rambunctious kid anyway, and will quietly read or draw or snuggle at random points during the day.

My son sleeps 9-9 through the night. He's 2 1/2 and stopped napping about a month ago once he started sleeping through the night. He doesn't do quiet time.

Yeah i was hoping we would at least make it until 2 1/2   it doesnt look to be going that way..shes been doing this allweek. Its depressing. I live for naptime! Do you still have quiet time? My nephew still naps great and hes nearly 3. Im super jealous of my sister

Some days Jordan doesn't take a nap. But, I usually don't mind because he will go to sleep earlier. I try to make him have quiet time but that is nearly impossible. lol

I can't believe our babies are going to be 2!!

My daughters always been a fairly quiet and shy kid but this past week its like shes a different kid! Im babysitting my nephew today and while i was in the bathrrom they decided to take all his clothes off his shelf and throw it in his basketball hoop   then proceeded to jump on his bed for nearly an hour..i wasnt able to take them outside because of the weather. Figured for sure shed be tired ...nope  

I cannot believe it either! Got all the stuff for her party yesterday...amazing how fast time flys these days! Even faster for you im sure with the 2 of them ;)

It's crazy! I am going to have another toddler running around here soon. lol

My son stopped napping around age 2. He is 3.5 now, and he still doesnt nap...very rarely he will nap and when he does he will not go to bed at night.

I would live for 7pm   haha you have some evening/night hours!  
we still do quiet time, yes. i need it cos i'm that 'first trimester tired' still,
so i lay on the couch and she just kinda, lays on me, looks at her books, etc.
