my sister's kid (my nephew) has been going to daycare since he was four months old. he is now 14 months.
every other week, he's sick
i've never used daycare, but that just doesn't sound normal to me.
i understand there are lots of kids, and they are all in each other's faces, but is that really to be expected?

He used to always get sick, but now he hasn't been sick from day care in over 6 months.

DD was sick nearly her entire first year, of course she was hospitalized twice too but now she is rarely sick and if she is it is only a day, so her immune system got built up. She is 3 now.

i feel so bad for my nephew. i've offered to help pay for a nanny, but my sister refuses, since she doesn't know anyone personally and doesn't know where to look.

DD has been in daycare for 7 weeks and hasnt yet.

My SIL kid was in daycare since an infant and he is always sick. My DD gets sick like once every few months maybe. I cant remember the last time she was sick honestly, but now we think we are getting a cold
