Best box hair dye

posted 3rd Oct
So I've decided I want to dye my hair light brown. I do not have time to go get my hair done. I don't use box dye so I have no idea what brand to use. Suggestions?

Do you have dark hair? if your hair is super light i would suggest getting it done professionally as mine is dark brown and ive used so many box dyes all with not the results i was expecting

but i did like revlon the best. it was super easy to use, fast, and worked the best on my hair but i guess my hair just doesn't take to dye well.

I use Wella from Sally's then just buy the developer. Most box dyes use the wrong developer and damage your hair.

Agreed! I always use this when I dye mine. Love it!

I use to work at a beauty supply store. I wish I could find my card. I could also go to Sally's I guess.

I have ash colored hair. Right now it's blonde with auburn low lights tho. I'm so afraid I'm going to mess this up lol

Use, at most, 20 developer. The boxed color uses 40 so it can STRIP the most color out of your hair, while depositing the most color it can. 40 developer ensures the closest match to the color seen on the box.

I never use boxed. I buy my own from Sally's and even mix the colors, for a personalized color.
