i just want to say that your amazing. i wish i had known that you could wait with your water broke. i went in and they didnt even give me 6 hours for my contraction to pick up. they just hooked me up to pit and almost kill my baby :/ (he was having de-cells as low as 30bpm). they refused to stop upping the dose even when i told then not to. i was forest to labor laying on one side. i will NEVER deliver in a hospital again.

Do you plan on no pain meds? I had no pain meds what so ever..and yhe contractions hurt wayy worse than pushing out my daughter lol

Ugh that almost happen to me but I had a doula there to fight the hospital tooth and nail last time ajd get me a telemetry unit so I wouldn't be stuck to a bed. I know, hospitals SUCK. And pitocin is so, so, so painful!

No, pain meds are not an option in home birth really. I haven't had them the last couple of times so I'm really hoping to make it through a 3rd time. I plan to manage the pain in other ways though. a glass of wine isn't out of the question when its in my own home :-).

Nice to hear someone having a midwife. We use them all the time over here, doctors are only there for back up in case of an emergency or high-risk pregnancies.
