Body Pillow

I'm almost 8 weeks along. I have pretty moderate arthritis in my hips due to carrying 2 kids and then not losing the weight afterwards. I'm starting to get to the point where I can no longer sleep on my stomach, but if I sleep on my side all night I wake up sore. I didn't have the money to get a body pillow w/the last two, but because I know I'm going to need the support, I'm going to have to buy one this time.

There are a lot of different types and shapes. I was thinking of this one

but I wasn't sure how much space it would take up, is it comfortable etc. Also, I've broke in my pillow to where I like it. IDK if I'd want a big U shaped on.

Any advice on what worked for you would be appreciated.

That looks massive, but comfy! lol I've had the Boppy Total Body Pillow during the last 2 pregnancies. WONDERFUL. I took it to the hospital with me and it made those awful hospital beds a million times more comfy during labor & recovery. It also doubles as a regular nursing Boppy [only better, IMO because it offers back support].

I just got a regular 10$ extra long pillow from walmart when I was pregnant. I was able to bend it however I wanted

LMAO Yes, but don't say anything on my FB. My family won't know until after my apt. next thursday, and even then they still might not know for a few more weeks. I'm due w/ Coraline or Maxwell on May 17th.

I had a bean bag pillow for my second. it helped some. With the way my second went, I know I'm going to need a lot of support at night. My hips crunch when I roll over in bed.

They have firm ones too. That made mine hurt because mine dislocated when I was in labor, and still grind some times 4 years later. I need to go to a chiro

Thank you! I can't wait either. Not looking forward to telling my family, but they'll get over it.
