8 wk PP still bleeding.

Hey ladies
Its been 8 weeks since I gave birth ever since then I have bleeing like a slow/medium flow and am expiercing some cramping.
Is this normal? How long did you bleed?

The normal range is up to about 12 weeks. So as long as you're not having clots, yellow or green discharge with it, or a nasty smell, I think you're fine.

I'm only 6 days PP and the nurse told me before leaving the hospital that the common misconception is that it just stops after 6 weeks when it can go as long as 12 weeks. As long as there are no huge clots you're not hemorraging and there's no funky discharge, you will be ok. Good luck.
