People tend to forget about things... lol

I think so. I would send one out two weeks in advance. Send it out too early and it may slip people's minds. Send it out too late and they may have other things planned.'

Bailey's Birthday is in August so I let people know when it is once June comes. Everyone seems to go on vacation around her birthday. Then I send out invites exactly 4 weeks before her party and then a text a few days before.

Well my plan was to send out a Facebook reminder now & then in like mid November mail out actual invitations.

That sounds fine. Especially since its right after the holidays as well, it gives people time to prepare.

Her actual birthday is January 1st. I did it on that day last year & it was hell! lol Exactly a week after Christmas. :/

Oh man! Poor kid is always going to have a hard time celebrating her birthday.
Unless she throws her own new years eve party every year.
Mine is a few days before halloween and I always have to have my birthday parties in November because everyone else is having halloween parties.

My Mom's is the day after Christmas so she always have lots of ideas for birthday parties around holidays since she's always had to deal with it.
